You will be the Classified Cyber Security Associate for the Classified Cyber Security team. Our team is responsible for safeguarding classified information systems and ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

What You Will Be Doing

As the Classified Cyber Security Associate you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end cybersecurity support across multiple classified programs.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement System Security Plans (SSP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other security documentation to meet RMF requirements.
  • Oversee compliance of security settings for operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, etc.) on classified information systems.
  • Manage and execute the Information Security Continuous Monitoring program.
  • Maintain required security certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP) and ensure ongoing personnel qualification.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Obtain an interim Secret clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Sec+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level II or III certification or within 6 months of start date.
• Knowledgeable of operating system (Windows and/or Linux) security requirements.
• Knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance tools.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM and JSIG certification and accreditation processes.
• IS auditing experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience working with classified information systems.
• Previous experience working in an SAP / SCI/ Collateral environment.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, and a quick learner
• Prior experience as ISSO, or DoD equivalent at an organization of similar size and complexity.
• Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE.
• Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.
• Knowledge of government / contractor network interconnectivity arrangements.
• Ability to speak in front of large groups of people.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related master's degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
• Possess the ability to work with multiple customers, and must be able to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships
• Possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
