Job Description Summary
The Advanced Product Development (APD) Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE) subsection is a pioneering systems organization at the forefront of military innovation. This team is responsible for developing, integrating, and deploying the DEE for a CAT 1 New Product Introduction (NPI) in EdisonWorks. This groundbreaking NPI encompasses the design, development, `, testing, and qualification of an advanced engine concept, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to surpass stringent customer requirements.
At the core of this initiative lies the DEE, an advanced collaborative platform providing secure, role-based access to a centralized data repository. This comprehensive system serves as the single source of truth for all program-level information, enabling seamless development, coordination, and delivery of engineering products. The DEE integrates state-of-the-art digital tools, optimized processes, innovative methodologies, and robust databases, creating a holistic ecosystem that supports the entire engine lifecycle from conception to sustained operation.
The APD Model-Based Requirements and Test (MBRT) engineer will bring model-based principles to requirements and test that revolutionizes the traditional methods of capturing, analyzing, and managing system requirements. The MBRT engineer will work closely with a cross functional team including the DEE team, the program Qual leader, the program test organization and system module leaders.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with System Module Leaders and Design Engineers to effectively populate and manage requirements in Cameo enabling robust requirements tracing capabilities
- Lead the transformation of traditional Interface Control Documents (ICDs) into dynamic Interface Control Models (ICMs), improving system integration and communication.
- Spearhead the implementation of digital design reviews, leveraging cutting-edge tools to streamline the review process and enhance collaboration.
- Enhance test planning and facility integration by partnering with test facilities to implement Model-Based Testing principles, optimizing test efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualification/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited college or university, or representative experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering position.
- Active DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
- Due to security requirements, this position must be able to work a full-time in the office schedule

Desired Skills:
- Active "Advanced program" access
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, coupled with the demonstrated ability to influence teams effectively.
- Experience utilizing digital tools such as Jira, Confluence and Cameo
- Strong experience with MBSE and "classical systems engineering" functions
- Experience with GE Aerospace Digital tools and processes
- Experience working with DoD customer and processes
- Orchestrate the seamless integration and interoperability of digital tools within the DEE, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow.
- Stay at the forefront of digital engineering and data analytics advancements, driving continuous improvement of existing tools and processes to maximize DEE effectiveness.
- Integrate lean/flight deck methodologies into the DEE framework, optimizing efficiency and resource utilization
