Allied Universal is Hiring a GSOC Operator to work at a Tech Company located in Milpitas, Ca!
Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour
3 Shifts Available: Day / Swing / Grave
Requirements:
*Active CA Guard Card
*Prior GSOC experience of 1 or more years
*Security experience of 1 or more years
*Intermediate to advanced technology skills
*Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)
*Use of personal electronic devices while on duty is prohibited
As a GSOC Operator, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, under guidance of GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens. The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client's people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor, assess, and respond to global threat intelligence feeds, news, and alerts affecting employees, property, and assets.
- Oversee video surveillance, access control, life safety systems, and alarms for security and safety incidents.
- Respond to alarms, prioritize incidents by criticality, and dispatch security personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Coordinate emergency support for traveling employees during medical incidents or regional crises.
- Support crisis management response; coordinate incident escalations and emergency communications to site, regional, and enterprise emergency response leadership.
- Maintain situational awareness of security personnel locations to ensure timely incident response and effective patrols.
- Dispatch security personnel to support site operations and client service calls.
- Ensure compliance with access control, badging, visitor management, and property movement policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, visitors, and public safety officials to resolve issues and uphold security standards.
- Operate communication systems (telephone, radio, email, intercoms, paging, mass notification tools) to support security operations.
- Accurately document incidents and daily activity reports in designated platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field (highly preferred); or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in GSOC, Emergency Operations Center, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, or a related security discipline.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident management platforms, mass notification systems, and threat intelligence tools.
- Ability to multitask, think critically, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Proven ability to follow standard operating procedures and playbooks.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
