The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized PMO Proposal Response and Project Kickoff Specialist to support our DoD customer in implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model. This model aims to provide consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end-user experience across the customer environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding and transitioning newly awarded orders to the operational team and maintaining comprehensive tracking of our organization's Order processes. CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end-user devices. This will enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Responsibilities:

As the PMO Proposal Response and Project Kickoff Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our organization's RFP response strategies and Order awards. You will leverage your expertise to organize timelines, coordinate with team members, and ensure the smooth transition of awarded orders to the execution team.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days onsite per week in Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Response Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop compelling proposal responses.
    • Draft and edit proposal documentation, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
    • Conduct research to support proposal content and enhance the competitive edge of submissions.
    • Manage proposal timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Internal Project Kickoffs:
    • Organize and lead internal project kickoff meetings to align team members and stakeholders.
    • Develop and present kickoff materials, including project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Facilitate discussions to clarify project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
    • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Handoff to Project Manager and Execution Team:
    • Prepare detailed handover documents for the Project Manager, including project scope, requirements, and any relevant constraints.
    • Conduct transition meetings to brief the Project Manager and execution team on project details and expectations.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and resources are available for the Project Manager to take over seamlessly.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Conduct external stakeholder briefings, coordinate locations, and send formal meeting invites.
    • Take meeting minutes and action items, turning them into CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements List).
    • Lead efforts across teams to develop complex briefings and work products.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in proposal development and project kickoffs.
    • Contribute to the development of best practices and templates for proposal responses and kickoff materials.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little direction and guidance.
  • Have demonstrated communication skills with all levels of program and customer management and staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledgeable in SharePoint.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and IT discussions.
  • Experience with FTE counts and resource allocation.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.


Required:
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficient is MS Office suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledgeable in SharePoint
  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
  • 8+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Desired:
PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
