HESFP LLC, a Cherokee Federal owned company, will provide Agile and Salesforce expertise in support of federal digital modernization projects. The Salesforce Scrum Master will enable high-performing Salesforce delivery teams by facilitating Agile ceremonies, promoting Scrum best practices, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution. This role will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, business analysts, and end users to ensure efficient and successful Salesforce implementations across multiple environments.
This position is remote; however, occasional travel may be required for client or team meetings.

Pay Range: 100-130k

Salesforce Scrum Master Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitate all Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more Salesforce delivery teams, supporting the team in achieving sprint goals and maintaining a sustainable work pace.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined with clear acceptance criteria.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that may block team progress, coordinating with leadership and cross-functional partners as needed.
- Coach teams on Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and collaboration techniques to enhance delivery and team maturity.
- Track key metrics including velocity, sprint performance, and team throughput; prepare reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Work with developers, admins, and business analysts to ensure alignment between Salesforce capabilities, business requirements, and technical designs.
- Assist with process discovery, business process modeling, and documenting current vs. future state workflows.
- Support creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, functional design notes, conceptual wireframes, and gap analyses.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and communication within and across Salesforce delivery teams.
- Stay up to date on Salesforce releases and new features; assess impacts to the product backlog and roadmap.
- Provide quality assurance support by helping teams define test scenarios and validate functionality where appropriate.
- Perform business process analysis and re-engineering to support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Assist with user support activities such as training, documentation, and requirements clarification.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills & Abilities Requested:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent required; advanced Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, SAFe, IC-ACC, SASM, CSP) highly preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder preferred.
- 11+ years of general work experience, including experience as a Scrum Master in fast-paced Agile environments.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce projects (process modeling, writing acceptance criteria, user interface design).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience leading cross-functional development teams and facilitating Agile delivery in complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and clear documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications required by Cherokee Federal.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance if required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools and standard modeling conventions.
- Flexibility, reliability, strong customer service focus, and independent drive to complete tasks accurately and on time.
