SUMMARY: We are seeking a Junior EM (Emergency Management) Education & Training Specialist to support the DAF's Emergency Management and CBRN defense programs. In this role, you will assist with maintaining training plans, tracking certifications, and coordinating course schedules. Candidates need at least a minimum of 4 years of USAF EM experience, a SECRET clearance, and strong organizational skills. Prior experience as an Air Force instructor teaching adult learners is highly preferred.

- Salary Range - 65,000 to 75,000
- Clearance - A successful candidate must have an active "Secret" clearance to be considered.

In this role, the Junior EM Education & Training Specialist will assist with the DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field education and training program management requirements.
Essential Job Functions
- Support the maintenance and updating of the Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP) and Air Force Qualification Training Package (AFQTP) products under the guidance of senior specialists.
- Assist with tracking and maintaining records for the career field's credentialing and certification program.
- Help prepare, format, and organize training products and curriculum materials, such as presentations, student guides, and web-based content.
- Assist with scheduling various training events, including those for mission-essential equipment and contingency skills.
- Review training documents and presentations for formatting, grammar, and compliance with established standards and templates.
- Assist in monitoring 3E9 proficiency training requirements within ARIS, the system of record.
- Work collaboratively with the team and perform other administrative and support duties as assigned by the team lead to contribute to overall team success.
- Assist with the scheduling and logistical coordination of meetings and workshops, including preparing meeting materials and taking notes.
- Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM (Emergency Management) Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the DAWSON Contract Task Lead or DAWSON Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years or more CBRN defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience or 10 years or more of relevant experience required.
- SECRET or interim clearance or must meet eligibility for a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for secret clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
