Target Salary Range: $39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic, thriving team. This program is in support of the United States Coast Guard Academy providing technical assistance to computer users. This position is located on site in New London, CT.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person or via telephone or electronically
- Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal/external customers
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 0 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 4 years experience
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Prior Help Desk experience required
- Must have knowledge of Windows/Office 365 applications
- Must have the ability to troublshoot diagnostic issues
- Network+ and/or Security+ certifications
