We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Shift Security Response Team (SRT) Shift Supervisor to join our team at NAS Patuxent River, MD. This position involves overseeing a team of security personnel tasked with providing access control to critical areas supporting the VH Presidential Helicopters. The Security Response Team Shift Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the hangar, warehouse, and test aircraft essential for presidential operations.

The Security Response Team Shift Supervisor will provide access control support to the PMA-274 Physical Security Office by monitoring and controlling access to the hangar, warehouse, and test aircraft within Building 2805, also referred to as the Presidential Helicopter Support Facility (PHSF). This includes verifying personnel entering the facility for visible badge identification, directing visitors to designated areas, maintaining key control, managing master files and logbooks, and processing visit requests through DISS. As outlined in MCO 5530.14A, 100% Yankee White access control is required 24/7 for all presidential assets.

Duties will include, but are not limited to :

· Review paperwork and Shift Reports to ensure accurate documentation.

· Complete a proposed schedule for assigned shifts to ensure adequate coverage.

· Ensure minimum manpower requirements are met and personnel receive their required days off.

· Review and approve Leave Requests, ensuring proper staffing levels.

· Monitor personnel to ensure that all duties are performed completely and in accordance with established policies.

· Ensure that the daily workload is distributed fairly among personnel and that customer satisfaction is prioritized.

· Maintain a positive work environment, fostering fairness and mutual respect among personnel.

· Coordinate and respond to emergency calls for service.

· Oversee shift activities and personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including uniform standards, patrol duties, alarm responses, and cell phone use.

· Report to and coordinate with the Team Lead to ensure all responsibilities are executed to the highest standard.

Required Experience:

· A minimum of Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience performing duties outlined in the functional description, specifically in access control and security operations.

· Current PMA-274 SRT member with at least one year of experience in this position.

· Possession of (and ability to retain) a current Yankee White security clearance.

· Proven supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to lead effectively based on prior work history.

· Flexibility to provide coverage as needed to support other shifts with limited notice.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining security protocols and documentation accuracy.

Required Education:

Associate's Degree.

Two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for an Associate's Degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
