Role Overview
As a Mid-Career Industrial Engineer, you will:
• Lead and contribute to projects that optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve human factors.
• Apply advanced analytics and simulation tools to shape production strategies and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate across engineering, production, and program teams to ensure manufacturing excellence from concept to delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence the growth of a high-performing team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Analyze and optimize production processes, workflows, and facility layouts to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with facilities engineers to plan new production lines and factories.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers in establishing standards and monitoring performance against targets.
• Develop discrete-event simulations to identify resource constraints, workflow bottlenecks, and optimal schedules.
• Interrogate data systems to surface problems and provide actionable, data-driven solutions.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation and sustainment.
• Engage directly with production teams to understand operations and deliver tailored solutions.
• Support occasional weekend or off-hour schedules as needed.
• Partner across functional groups to align priorities and maximize program impact.

Basic Qualifications:
• Industrial Engineering experience in a production environment.
• Project management experience, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience developing metrics and analyzing cost, schedule, and performance data.
• Skilled in production forecasting, scheduling, and staffing plans.
• Experience with discrete-event simulation of production processes.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience launching and scaling new production lines or factories.
• Leadership experience with high-performing teams; ability to manage and resolve conflict.
• Familiarity with SAP, Apriso, VECAMS, Tableau, Simio, or similar software.
• Experience executing ramp plans to increase production rates while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Exceptional communication skills, including briefings to leadership and collaboration with operations teams.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) concepts: SPI, CPI, S-Curves.
• Active Secret clearance preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
