We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Analyst to support strategic cyber policy, force readiness, and command-and-control (C2) assessments. The role involves providing technical expertise, policy oversight, and analytic support to ensure effective integration of cyberspace activities across a large federal or defense organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with cyber workforce initiatives, readiness evaluations, and policy development in a complex, mission-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, coordinate, and review action packages, policy documents, and executive correspondence for senior leadership.
Support implementation of cyber strategies and workforce initiatives, including readiness assessments and manpower planning.
Evaluate cyber readiness issues, exercise taskings, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct analysis supporting force design, C2 structures, and operational cyber policies.
Identify gaps in cyber operations posture and recommend mitigations or policy improvements.
Provide technical and analytic support for internal and external assessments, reports, and studies.
Coordinate multiple cyber manpower priorities, including program efficiency reviews and cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare executive-level briefings, white papers, summaries, and other materials for decision-making purposes.
Support integration of security, protection, and risk-management programs in alignment with organizational mission objectives.
Foster professional development of cyber workforce personnel through strategic guidance and learning initiatives.
Qualifications
Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in defense, federal agencies, or interagency cyber operations.
Minimum of 3 years managing cyber manpower initiatives, workforce programming, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.
Strong knowledge of cyber readiness standards, operational requirements, and force design principles.
Experience coordinating with senior leadership and multiple stakeholders in high-stakes environments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with cyber operations, DoD-style policy frameworks, and mission assurance strategies.
Ability to synthesize complex technical data into clear, actionable guidance.
Strong leadership and collaborative skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
