Mayvin is seeking qualified candidates for a Personnel Security Specialist position supporting the Office of Security Programs within the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS). This role provides critical support to the adjudication process for both initial background investigations and reinvestigations and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in federal personnel security.

Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)
Responsibilities :
- Review, analyze, and evaluate the results of other investigative agency reports to determine the employment, suitability, and/or security eligibility of individuals for eligibility with USMS
- Summarize investigative issues on the adjudicator's worksheet, recommending approval/disapproval and noting pertinent suitability, security, and mitigating factors
- Identify, corroborate, and/or mitigate significant derogatory information
- Determine the need for additional inquiries to resolve discrepancies, negative findings, or conflicting information
- Analyze responses to follow-up inquiries or letters and provide final recommendations based on established suitability and security criteria
- Support the intake team during workload surges to minimize delays and maintain processing timelines
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in intelligence, security, or national security programs
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a security clearance adjudicator
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- National Security Adjudicator training
