Location: IAFNOS Contract – Langley AFB, VA (On-Site/Office)
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (must be current at time of application)
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary Range: $62,750 p/a (non-negotiable)
Since this is a 24/7/365 operation, we are required to provide coverage on Holidays and weekends. We work to accommodate Holiday time off as much as possible when the Holiday falls in a person’s normal schedule shift but cannot guarantee the ability to take every Holiday off. The specifics of the shift coverage are below.
Shift Days – Tue – Sat (Identified day for MID shift coverage begins on the night prior. i.e., Tuesday coverage starts on Monday night)
Shift Hours – 2300 – 0730 (some flexibility in start/stop times but not in the days requiring coverage)
Once a candidate is selected, the first week or two will be day shifts (M-F) to complete required paperwork and training before transitioning to the MID shift coverage.

Position Summary:
OSAAVA Services is seeking an intermediate level IS and Cyber Security Professional to support the United States Air Force’s Integrated Air Force Network Operations and Security (IAFNOS) contract at Langley AFB, VA.
This position is responsible for maintaining, securing, and strengthening the Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) through proactive cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and compliance with DoD/USAF security standards.
If you have a strong background in cybersecurity operations and a passion for protecting national defense systems, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact supporting Air Force missions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, operate, update, patch, configure, integrate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain vulnerability management systems.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies and standards to prevent unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments using Air Force-provided tools; scan, track, record, and report vulnerabilities.
• Upload results to DISA’s Vulnerability Management System (VMS) for review and remediation.
• Perform patch management for servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Manage and troubleshoot the Air Force End Point Protection System (AEPS) to safeguard all Air Force client systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/USAF cybersecurity directives, orders, and network defense requirements.
• Track and document compliance for all required security updates and patches.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain security posture and readiness.
• Provide timely and accurate communication with co-workers, management, and customers regarding system security status and remediation efforts.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance (required at time of application)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information or cybersecurity operations
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
• Experience with DoD/USAF information security policies and RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes
• Strong understanding of security control implementation, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting Air Force or DoD cybersecurity environments
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, ACAS, and RMF evidence documentation
• Knowledge of Air Force Network Defense (AFNetD) operations or equivalent
Security Clearance Requirements:
• Active Secret Clearance required for consideration
• Eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) information is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time
• Occasionally move about the office to access files or equipment
• Frequent use of computers and office productivity tools
• Regular interaction with co-workers and customers, including presentations and updates
