MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
• Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes
• Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
• Participates in the upgrading of operating systems and design of systems enhancements
• Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems
• Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems
• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
• Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
• Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: AS/AA in related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and training
• Required Experience: 3+ years of technical training, and work experience; Understanding and practical experience with Army Command and Control Systems (C2); Comprehensive understanding of the integration of C2 systems with tactical and simulation networks
• Required Technical Skills:
  • Integration of C2 systems in support of a simulation driven exercise
  • Strong ability to assist customers with defining training objectives
  • Professional Certification in one or more specific technologies may be required to meet DoD Approved RMF Baseline Certifications

• Certification: DoD Approved Baseline 8570 IAT level II (Comp TIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.) certification or must possess within six months of start date
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET
• Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Superb communication skills
  • Strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines to remain compliant
• Preferred skills:
  • Practical experience with Army Command and Control Systems specifically AFATDS, TAIS, and AMDWS
  • Working knowledge of WinTAK / ATAK
• Location: On Customer Site with some travel to other customer sites throughout AoR
