Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 and must posses active secret clearance.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 3 years with a Master's degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or Creo
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex engineering and 3D models
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with quality control processes and best practices
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to tool design and manufacturing
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working closely with a cross-functional engineering team
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform thorough reviews of CAD models to identify and rectify errors, omissions, and inconsistencies
- Verify that designs adhere to industry standards, company specifications, and best practices for manufacturing
- Consult for and confirm proper geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), angles, radii, and other dimensions
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of the bill of materials (BOM)
