We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to implement, manage, and continuously to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines to support DevSecOps practices. This role is responsible for safeguarding cloud and hybrid cloud environments, conducting security assessments, responding to events, and ensuring compliance with published cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with security technologies, regulatory compliance, and a strong understanding of emerging cyber threats.

Responsibilities
Security Operations & Infrastructure
- Implement and manage robust security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs to protect organizational networks and systems.
- Monitor and maintain security infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and threat mitigation.
- Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD pipelines to support DevSecOps practices.
- Work closely with Agile development teams to embed security into sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
- Champion DevSecOps principles by automating security testing, code scanning, and configuration validation.
- Threat Detection & Incident Response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and address potential risks.
- Promote a shift-left security mindset, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified and addressed early in the development process.
- Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and recommend preventive measures to reduce future threats.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and frameworks.
- Support DoD cybersecurity requirements, including Authority to Operate (ATO) preparation and participation in security audits.
- Ensure security controls align with NIST, RMF, and other federal compliance frameworks.
- Collaboration & Awareness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance and technical support.
- Promote security awareness and training across the organization to foster a culture of security.
- Stay informed on emerging cyber threats, tools, and technologies to proactively adapt security strategies.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum five (5) years of experience performing cybersecurity responsibilities as outlined above.
- At least one (1) of the following certifications:
- CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH.
- Experience working in Agile environments and supporting DevSecOps pipelines.
Desired Qualification:
- One or more of the following advanced certifications:
- CASP+ CE (SecurityX), CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCED, or GCIH.
- Experience with automated security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, container scanning, IaC scanning).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
