Overview:
Our team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to support the Cyber and Network (C&N) Directorate at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HNJ). This position is ideal for a U.S. Air Force veteran or senior acquisition professional with deep knowledge of DoD program management and lifecycle acquisition. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and strategic insight to ensure program objectives are met in alignment with Air Force mission priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead program planning and execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets across multiple acquisition efforts.
• Support Air Force Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads with acquisition strategy, contract management, and program integration.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions to sustain program health and execution tempo.
• Review and refine acquisition documentation including Acquisition Strategies (AS), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Risk Management Plans, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
• Develop and deliver high-quality executive briefings, reports, and milestone documentation compliant with DoDI 5000.02 and Air Force acquisition standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize acquisition efficiency, cost control, and delivery timelines.
• Evaluate and assist in developing acquisition approaches that ensure operational suitability, risk mitigation, and technical feasibility for warfighter capability delivery.
Required Qualifications:
• U.S. citizen eligible for Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
• Master’s degree in a STEM or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive program management experience supporting defense acquisition programs.
• Strong working knowledge of DoD 5000-series directives and Air Force acquisition processes.
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder relationships, and change management initiatives.
• PMP and/or DAWIA certification(s) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working within or directly supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC).
• Prior military experience as a USAF officer (O-4 to O-6) with acquisition, program management, or systems integration background.
