The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

As a member of the NGI team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide key contributions to various groups within the Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) organization
• Responsible for coordinating the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects, as well as coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Support major design reviews at the vehicle, subsystem, and unit-level.
• Work closely with geographically dispersed teams composed of various engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and submit CDRL submissions at regular intervals and in support of CDRs
• Develop, refine, and analyze verification plans.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering Teams on Verification Objective Evidence tracking and delivery.
• Develop and maintain tools for tracking Verification actions, event closures, and customer reports.
• Some travel may be required ~10%

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with schedule reporting software and procedures; eg: MS Project, OpenPlan or similar
• Experience with metric reporting tools such as Tableau
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree within a related discipline
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support coordination between multiple teams and multiple locations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) - - participating in CEAC, EVM, and BCR Reviews
• Experience working with multiple points of communication, including key stakeholders, liaisons, and external partners
• Experience with Proposal and BOE (Basis of Estimate Development)
• Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams to obtain status of engineering artifacts relating to requirements Verification
• Experience with IBM Rational DOORS or a similar requirements database
• Experience with DOORS DXL scripting or other similar script-based coding
• Current/Active secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
