TO QUALIFY AS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST (0501 SERIES):
TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0501-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying commonly used budget and/or financial principles to research, analyze, or reconcile an organization's financial data.
TO QUALIFY FOR NT-0501-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-2 pay band (GS-5 through GS-8 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. - You will serve as either a Financial Management Analyst (0501 series) or an Accountant (0510 series) in the Comptroller Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division.
- As a Financial Management Analyst you will perform complex financial functions to prepare, analyze, interpret and present financial data.
- As a Financial Management Analyst you will provide authoritative advice and solutions to complex financial issues.
- As a Financial Management Analyst you will use financial information to identify financial inconsistencies, present findings and implement solutions to resolve problems.
- As a Financial Management Analyst you will operate and maintain financial information in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System at a Working Capital Fund field activity.
