Duties / Responsibilities:
Serves as a senior-level subject matter expert in scenario and exercise design for the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) at Goodfellow AFB, TX, directly supporting both USAICoE and FORSCOM training and certification requirements. This role is instrumental in developing immersive, operationally relevant training environments that enhance Soldier readiness across the Intelligence Warfighting Function. Key Responsibilities:
- Scenario & Exercise Development: Assist in the design, application, and maintenance of training operational environments and training scenarios that support Professional Military Education (PME) and FORSCOM intelligence certification standards.
- Operational Environment Design: Translate real-world information into dynamic, realistic training environments and scenarios that reinforce the operations process and intelligence warfighting function.
- Instructional Systems Design: Apply the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to ensure training solutions are instructionally sound and aligned with Army learning objectives.
- Technical Writing & Documentation: Produce high-quality technical materials, including scenarios, scripts, exercise guides, and supporting documentation for Army and joint training audiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver briefings and technical presentations to senior leaders and stakeholders across USAICoE, TRADOC, and FORSCOM. Act as a liaison to external organizations to ensure alignment with evolving doctrine and training needs.
- Training System Integration: Work with the Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT) and other platforms to enhance scenario realism and training effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide direct support to scenario and exercise teams at Fort Huachuca, Goodfellow AFB, and other locations as directed. Ensure client expectations are met through continuous coordination and feedback integration.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Advise leadership and technical teams on intelligence training methodologies and operational environment and scenario development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess a current TS/SCI Clearance.
- Six years’ operational experience as a 35N/35S/352N/35A2G; with course completion certification available for verification.
- Current and relevant experience writing and developing technical documents IAW USAICoE, Army, and DoD (Department of Defense) writing standards.
- IEWTPT experience in creating, developing, and inputting scenarios and products.
- Able to write and develop technical documents and documents utilizing the preferred Army writing style in the active voice and according to governing regulations.
- Ability to gather, consolidate, and integrate numerous technical and administrative inputs from staff, professional, and technical personnel.
