The Level 3 AI Engineer is an experienced professional responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models and algorithms. This role involves hands-on work with data preprocessing, model training, and integration into production systems, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement AI algorithms using standard tools and frameworks.
• Analyze and preprocess large datasets for model training.
• Evaluate and optimize AI model performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback.
• Monitor and improve deployed AI models.
• Document and debug AI software systems.
• Research emerging AI technologies and contribute to design practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience, or Master’s + 1 year, or PhD.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Must work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (not required to start).
