Job Title: Windows Systems Engineer
Contract/Perm: Long term IG until 2029
Clearance: Secret (TS preferred)
Shift: core hours M-F
Onboarding: 2 weeks
Must Haves:
• Secret Clearance required, TS preferred.
• BS degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or relevant working experience in lieu of degree.
• CompTIA Security+CE (or equivalent IAT II certification)
• Proven engineering experience and troubleshooting with Windows 11 and Server 2019
• Proven experience in automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, and other scripting or configuration management tools.
Day to Day:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing holistic solutions for our customers. Candidate should have at least 10-12 years of Windows Systems Engineering, software installation and integration experience. Engineer will maintain systems in production and provide support (patching, scanning, STIGs, troubleshooting, etc.). Selected candidate will be assisting a small team of Systems Engineers to support our customers’ requirements and will install and maintain our Production and Development systems. Candidate should be experienced with Microsoft Office, Windows Server 2019 and Windows 11 technology, including Active Directory roles, managing OUs and group policy objects (GPOs). SCCM/MECM/Software Center experience (creation
of application packages, troubleshooting issues with packages, etc. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Nutanix), PowerShell scripting and networking principles in addition to DoD information assurance requirements and STIG checklists within IA guidelines is expected. There will be daily interaction with the team, customers and our Government representatives.
