Hours of Performance:
Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Able to performa ll requested X-ray examinations ordered by the health care providers of FCI/FSL Elkton.
- Knowledge and use of GE Definum 800 and Definium 5000 digital x-ray machines between the FCI/FSL.
- Perform quality assurance protocol weekly maintenance.
- Knowledge and use of Fuji, Dri-Pix 5000 image copier for digital radiological equipment.
- Alter and QC digital images and send digitally through a MedWeb and StatRad internet system.
- Maintian paper filing system for patient encounters and final reports.
- Be able to work in correctional enviornment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a Rad Tech program that qualifies for state licensure/certification.
- Three letters of reference
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, TB Skin test of chest radiography, AHA CPR certification
- Training in radiation physics, biology, health, safety/protection, X-ray films/digital radiography, image quality, and radiographic techniques meeting or exceeding 42 C.F.R. Part 75 requirements.
