Required Skills:
- Recent senior-level experience (within the past five years) in operations management, administrative management, or project management.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities, supported by strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Between 5 to 10 years of professional and technical experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a related role focused on developing data models and architectural solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of data standards, including common formats, representation, definitions, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, use, and data management best practices.
- 5 to 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications from concept through production deployment.
- Proficiency with data programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL, as well as experience with data orchestration and integration pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or equivalent.
- Clear understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies and traditional project management techniques.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the capacity to identify stakeholders, foster collaboration, lead teams, advocate for positions, and negotiate compromises in a complex, multifunctional environment.
- Excellent math and analytical abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Over 10 years of professional and technical experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or related role focused on developing enterprise-level data models and architectural solutions.
- More than 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications from initial concept through full production deployment.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) designing and delivering large-scale solutions that enable business data management and enterprise information systems.
- Expert-level knowledge of data standards, including formats, representation, definition, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, usage, and data management best practices.
- Proficient in data programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL, with 10+ years of experience working on data orchestration and integration pipelines.
- Over 10 years of experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent consulting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Skilled in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with over 10 years of experience applying Agile and traditional project management and delivery methodologies.
- Ability to define, maintain, and manage architectural models and artifacts, including current and future state application architecture diagrams and data models.
- Solid understanding of Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and interagency organizations, their functional relationships, programs, and policies.
- Proven experience leading teams, negotiating compromises, and influencing senior leaders, customers, and stakeholders on sensitive issues with significant national or international consequences.
