Technical Writer

IntelliSys Solutions Group is an engineering and project management consulting firm, located in South Philadelphia. Our team of developers, engineers, and business analysts work together to improve automation, streamline logistics, and establish quality control for government organizations.


Our team is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support our Naval Surface Warfare customer based in Chesapeake, VA. This role will be responsible for the development of technical manuals to advance the mission outcomes through clear communication of day-to-day execution. This position will need to translate objectives into actionable steps and ensure scope, schedule, and quality metrics are being met.


This position is contingent based on award/funding from the customer.


Responsibilities:

· Develop technical manuals using Microsoft Word

· Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise manuals

· Ensure compliance with DoD documentation and security policies

· Collaborate with others to gather accurate technical information

· Manage document version control and updates


Required Qualifications:

· Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical Experience

· Five years of experience writing technical manuals, preferably within DoD or IT

· Active Security Clearance

· Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field

· Proficient in Microsoft Word
