Responsibilities
As an Associate Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide direct, hands-on and remote IT support to end users, fostering strong relationships and personalized service.
- Deploy, operate, and maintain multi-user computer systems and associated applications, ensuring seamless functionality and availability.
- Independently research and troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalating and coordinating solutions with IT engineers and software developers when necessary.
- Perform security administration, including account creation and maintenance , including account creation, user permissions, client endpoint installation (desktops, thin clients, printers), and troubleshooting policies.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions clearly within our ticketing system to enhance team knowledge and streamline future problem resolution.
- Support the ongoing migration and operation of services into cloud environments (AWS and Azure), gaining valuable cloud experience.
- Author, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and effective IT operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Polygraph (required to be considered)
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; 2+ additional years of directly related experience may substitute for a degree
- Experience in Windows Systems Administration, including:
- Windows 10/11
- Windows Active Directory
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Windows Server (2016 or newer)
- Familiarity with desktop/server virtualization
- Experience or exposure to cloud platforms, e.g., AWS or Azure ( preferred )
- DoD 8140 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire ( training and certification costs covered )
