MTSI is seeking a Systems / Telemetry Engineer to provide technical analysis and mission support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The selected candidate will support trajectory and telemetry analysis for target systems, mission planning, and post-flight data analysis within a high-performing technical team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical analysis and mission support for MDA test events, including trajectory development, telemetry analysis, and data processing.
- Perform Monte Carlo trajectory simulations, Best Estimate Trajectory (BET) production, and nominal/worst-case scenario analysis.
- Conduct telemetry data decommutation, decoding, and real-time monitoring using tools such as NetAcquire and Wideband systems.
- Support trajectory optimization and reconstruction efforts utilizing MATLAB, TAOS, STK, and related modeling software.
- Develop and maintain trajectory transformation tools and visualization products to support mission analysis and reporting.
- Support integration and test activities for missile flight test events.
- Collaborate closely with MDA technical teams, including Target, Telemetry, and Trajectory groups.
- Provide documentation, technical briefings, and post-test analysis reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience supporting missile defense, trajectory analysis, or telemetry operations.
- Active Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain or maintain Top Secret).
- Proficiency with MATLAB and simulation tools such as STK or TAOS.
- Strong understanding of guidance, navigation, and control principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to support cross-functional engineering teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or similar DoD test programs.
- Familiarity with trajectory optimization tools, Monte Carlo analysis, and 6DOF simulations.
- Knowledge of telemetry systems, including data acquisition and decoding.
- Master's degree in a STEM field (Industrial or Systems Engineering preferred).
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
