Key Responsibilities:
1. Preserve copies of source code and deliverables in the continuous integration development environment
2. Track components compiled to create each deliverable
3. Create application media and coordinate media creation
4. Update application release status and communicate release results to the Project Lead
5. Manage version control systems (e.g., Subversion) and implement branching strategies
6. Ensure compliance with FIAR and DoD Configuration Management standards
7. Implement and maintain Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) practices
8. Coordinate with developers, testers, and security teams to ensure controlled and secure releases
9. Manage and track changes using issue tracking tools like Jira
10. Develop and maintain documentation related to configuration management processes
11. Lead CM efforts, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with multiple teams
Required Qualifications:
1. U.S. Citizenship
2. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a T5 investigation clearance
3. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in resolving complex technical challenges
4. Proven experience in DoD Business IT supply, logistics, maintenance, and/or personnel administration systems for aviation, afloat, or shore activities
5. Strong understanding of version control, change management, build automation, and release management
6. Experience with Subversion (SVN), media burning software (Roxio, CDBurner, etc.), and ISO creation software
7. In-depth knowledge of DoD Configuration Management standards and FIAR policies
8. Proficiency in SBOM tools and compliance requirements
9. Demonstrated Working knowledge of Jira or similar issue tracking tools
10. Familiarity with addressing formats, including FPO and APO
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Ability to analyze complex configuration challenges and develop effective solutions
14. Strong attention to detail in maintaining software baselines, documentation, and compliance records
15. Leadership skills to guide CM efforts and mentor team members
16. Ability to obtain and maintain an admin token as required
