Imagine One is currently seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to work with the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain processes for evaluating software and associated documentation Determine resources required for quality control activities Maintain quality levels throughout the system life cycle Conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development lifecycle Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff Develop and implement quality assurance standards and procedures Lead quality control initiatives across multiple development teams Evaluate software quality across both legacy and modern applications Implement automated testing strategies and frameworks Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is built into processes Report on quality metrics and provide recommendations for improvements Support compliance with DoD and industry quality standards

Experience Requirements:
- Must have experience in a Quality Analyst role.
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in a managerial role in work involving Quality Management and Quality Audits.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and practices
- Experience with software testing and evaluation processes
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Must have familiarity with requirements analysis and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Must establish and maintain a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
- Must maintain the level of quality throughout the software life cycle.
- Conducts formal, informal reviews, and ad-hoc at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.
- Assist with performing complex program management tasks and developing standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.
- Must have experience with incident and problem management.
- Must be able to track, monitor, report, and collaborate with respective teams to close short team and long-term resolutions as a result of audit, incident, and/or problem findings.
Desired Requirements:
- Experience with DoD/Navy programs
- Quality assurance certifications (CSQA, ISTQB)
- SAFe certification
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks
- Experience with Agile testing methodologies
- Understanding of DoD quality and testing standards
- Experience with both legacy and modern testing approaches
- Project management experience

- Ship Maintenance and Ship Lifecycle Management Systems.
- DoD/DoN acquisition, budgeting, and investment management policies, guides, and regulations.
- Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture Framework (DODAF).
- Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), with emphasis on the guidance issued by the DoD Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO).
- Operational Activities: Enterprise services, Supply Support, Materials Management, Maintenance Planning, Nuclear Propulsion, Maintenance Execution, Workforce Management, Financial Management, Facilities and Equipment, Product Lifecycle Management and information technology products.
- Software languages, applications, operating systems, frameworks, integrated data environments and other expertise.
- Software/Systems Engineering using Agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor to a specific systems engineering process and software development tools
- Use of Digital Program Office (DPO) SDLC tools like Service Now, Azure Dev Ops, Mendix, UIPath, Katalon and Database Programming - schema design, architecture, performance tuning, SQL scripting, database consolidation, database migration, system backups and database admin.
- Application Test and Evaluation, particularly unit testing and integration testing.
- Asset Management: government documents, hardware, software (to include license agreements)
- Modification/maintenance/installation/integration of an interfaced enterprise solution of GOTS software products
- Information Assurance - DoD/DoN IA requirements and industry best practices.
- IT Infrastructure Support - hosted environment operations.
- System Administration - sys admin, help desk support, trouble ticket resolution.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in a STEM field preferred. Associate degree and/or years of experience may be substituted.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must have an ACTIVE SECRET clearance
