Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Tier 3 Database Engineer who will support a position in Washington, DC
Responsibilities for the Tier 3 Database Engineer:
· Will manage and administer the organization's databases, using database management systems to effectively organize and store data.
· Assess user requirements, design and implement databases, and coordinate changes, collaborating with development and end-user teams to define data access needs, transaction rates, and volume analysis.
· Ensuring optimal database performance and supports the integration and maintenance of databases within the organization
Qualifications for the Tier 3 Database Engineer:
· 10+ years of experience in Database Engineering
· Clearance: TS/SCI
· Design and develop robust database applications using PL/SQL
· Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
· Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to implement database solutions.
· Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve database-related issues
· Experience with Mongo DB

Compensation for the Tier 3 Database Engineer:
- $170,000 to $175,000 *Depending on Experience
- Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
