Job Description

As a Security Officer Aero Patrol in Bothell, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
