Full-time Onsite

TEX-TECH ENGINEERED- Winston Salem, NC

Company Summary: Tex Tech manufactures specialty textiles, coatings, and composites that are used primarily in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries. The Engineered Composites division is currently located in Gardena, California and its operations will be relocated to a greenfield site in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to help support the new site.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop production schedule and manufacturing plan based on program schedule, contractual or need-by dates, labor and machine resource availability, expected raw material lead times.
  • Manage production schedules for multiple programs.
  • Evaluate scope and create tactical schedules using MS Project. Control the scope of work released to Production Control for management and execution.
  • Identify and analyze critical paths and bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with production to determine constraints.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor status and provides updates regarding production priorities, current job/program status.
  • Performs schedule, scope variance analysis.


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Production Management, Business Management, Aero/Mech Engineering, and/or Supply Chain Management preferred. Years of experience will be considered in lieu of education requirement.
  • Minimum 2-3 years recent planning and scheduling experience (aerospace manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Read and understand technical documents including blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining schedules in MS Project.
  • Able to work full time, on-site, with some travel to other customer locations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to submit to required secret clearance process.


Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Manufacturing lead, supplier management, and program management experience highly desired.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Office.
  • ERP experience and/or expertise a plus.
  • Excellent written /verbal communications skills.
