️ CACI is seeking a Graphic Designer to apply your creativity, expertise, and technical skills in developing high-impact visual solutions for government-contracted projects. In this role, you will create, revise, and enhance technical illustrations, imagery, and photographs to clearly communicate complex information across multiple formats.
You will design innovative visuals that bring our customers' technical content and messaging to life, collaborating with stakeholders across various disciplines to deliver compelling products tailored to diverse audiences.
Success in this role requires a strong combination of artistic ability, technical proficiency, and a solid grasp of design principles to produce effective and engaging technical visual communications.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $61,600-$129,300

- Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility
- Portsmouth Naval Shipyard
- Washington Navy Yard
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and other key stakeholders to understand technical design requirements, then work independently to design innovative solutions for various digital and print media.
- Combine art elements, such as illustration, typography, and color, to create visually appealing designs that effectively communicate technical content, ideas, and messages.
- Design communications that maintain brand consistency across all materials and adhere to customer templates, style guides, and images.
- Apply best practices for text and visual content layout for digital and printed documentation.
- Review and edit completed work for formatting, accuracy, and appearance.
- Provide briefings or other reporting on work progress. Lead and facilitate work product development/revision cycle meetings to gather suggestions. Implement feedback and make necessary changes.
- Take ownership of assignments; ensure all products are produced with excellent quality, accuracy, efficiency, and on deadline.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in graphic design.
- May be assigned overflow Technical Writer/Editor work responsibilities, as needed.
- Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.
- Other duties may be assigned in support of project and mission success.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum of 10 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.
- Minimum 5 years of professional related work experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of design skills and project types, with a technical design focus.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with others to accurately and efficiently define project requirements.
- Proficient in creating a wide range of media.
- Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
- Outstanding organizational skills to efficiently manage competing priorities, multiple concurrent tasks, and firm deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
Desired:
- Experience with 3D animation and motion graphics.
- Video editing skills.
- Technical writing/editing skills and experience.
- Any of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agilist, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Technical Writer (CTW).
- Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, United States Navy, or the Department of Defense.
