Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly available Windows Server environment, including servers hosting Microsoft SQL Server 2017, 2019 or 2022 in instances and clusters
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise reporting platforms such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI Report Server, including report deployment, security administration, performance tuning, and service configuration
- Experience leveraging PowerShell and scripting languages to automate server builds, SQL installations, security patching, configuration management, and daily operational tasks to improve efficiency and system reliability
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, clustering, backups, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and meet RTO/RPO objectives for critical business systems
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP, within 30 days of hire date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on te chn ical assignments
- Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, sof tware, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform
- Experience collaborating with other enterprise te chn ologists both internally and externally to resolve complex te chn ical issues
- Experience supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience with cloud-based systems
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering
- CASP+ or CISSP Certification
