Combat Technology Fielding Expert
The Opportunity:
As a Combat Technology Fielding Expert, you know that getting the warfighter the tools and technologies needed to maintain overmatch capability is a critical priority for our nation. You understand government systems and material specifications and know that using tools and adhering to policies is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for someone like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to deliver solutions that meet requirements, on time, and on budget. Using your technical knowledge and understanding of the challenges in fielding new capabilities, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure sustainable solutions.
As a Combat Technology Fielding Expert on our Close Combat Solutions team, you'll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of technical and logistics issues. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex integrated systems is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.
In this role, you'll use your engineering, logistics, and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in the development, test, evaluation, and fielding of new capabilities for the Army
- Experience in executing in accordance with DoD or Army policies and processes for fielding and obtaining safety release for new capabilities
- Experience in performing Vulnerability Penetration Assessments (VPAs)
- Knowledgeable in terrain shaping obstacle technologies and capabilities
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with the Military
- Experience developing architectures in support of Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) compliance
- Ability to "think outside the box" to leverage new technology or non-traditional solutions to significantly accelerate timelines or reduce cost
- Possession of excellent communication skills, including facilitating collaboration between technical teams, project management, and stakeholders
