We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to contribute to a high-performing team supporting a secure, enterprise-scale IT infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the configuration and access of Enterprise Management tools across the customer's infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring enterprise systems for faults and performance issues using industry-standard tools
- Recommending and supporting network and system enhancements to improve operational performance
- Participating in cross-functional meetings with customers, contractors, and vendors
- Designing and implementing changes to the system architecture that align with enterprise management needs
- Working hands-on with routers, switches, storage networks, and security tools across both UNIX and Windows environments
- Supporting integration of event and incident ticketing systems and email-based alerts
- Leading and mentoring junior staff or providing oversight on team deliverables
- Collaborating on special projects as identified by the customer
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of relevant experience OR
- Associate's Degree + 10 years of relevant experience OR
- 8+ years of direct systems engineering experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI Poly eligibility required)
- Operational knowledge of ServiceNow
- Experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC)
- DoD 8140 (IAT Level I) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Strong background in enterprise infrastructure and monitoring tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Self-starter who works well independently or in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and remote support best practices
- Prior experience in customer-facing technical support roles is a plus
