DevOps Engineer

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in support of a classified program supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes
• 2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux, including writing custom Helm charts, and with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI/CD
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
• Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing in Java or Python
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or ElasticSearch, Kibana, and FluentD
• Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
• Experience using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
• Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
• Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML or configuration
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, or VMware
• Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
• Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
• Kubernetes Certification
