Description
Leidos is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deputy Program Manager who is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to ensure the successful completion of defined program goals and objectives. This role requires oversight of multiple, complex initiatives, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Deputy Program Manager interfaces regularly with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, external partners, and internal stakeholders to coordinate and deliver results. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to influence decisions and drive performance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

Leidos is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deputy Program Manager who is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to ensure the successful completion of defined program goals and objectives. This role requires oversight of multiple, complex initiatives, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Deputy Program Manager interfaces regularly with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, external partners, and internal stakeholders to coordinate and deliver results. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to influence decisions and drive performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program management activities including scope definition, planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Coordinate with cross-functional task leaders, support personnel, and subcontractors to achieve program objectives.
- Plan, collaborate, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives employing industry standard program management techniques.
- Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality
- Managing all aspects of the contract to include but not limited to analyzing business functionality and providing recommendations and impact assessments for architecture.
- Managing, developing and evaluating subordinate resources, resolving contractor issues, meeting with the Sponsor for Program Management Reviews, creating and maintaining all compliance documentation, maintaining the contractor management plan, as well as managing and reporting on project related items, such as cost, schedule, risk, and performance.
- Delivers timely and accurate CDRL and financial reports for the contract as well as ad hoc data calls and various other contract deliverables.
- Ensures the timely and accurate transfer of programmatic and technical information and plan and participate in program/iterative reviews.
- Excels at personnel and customer relationship management with a big picture/strategic eye for innovation and continued efficiencies across the program.
- Develop the overall project plan and manage project operations for multiple teams.
- Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts.
- Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members.
- Ensure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively.
- Communicate and coordinate the resolution of all project related problems to the appropriate project Government lead.
- Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
- Develop reporting and communicate status of project scope and objectives; schedules, project cost estimates and expenditures; status; deliverables; risk; and proposed way ahead to address project issues.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10 years or prior relevant experience.
- Requires deep understanding and prior work experience supporting facility management operations. Typically has mastery within a specific technical facility operations discipline/area or broad expertise across multiple related facility disciplines.
- Experience managing senior level engineers and other key positions.
- Experience with Facility support to enterprise networks
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and Project.
- Experience in preparing statements of work and conducting facility surveys.
- Experience in conducting research on specialized topics, determining conclusions, and presenting the results in a logical and concise manner.
- Experience managing multiple projects and effectively executing project specific deliverables.
- Strong management and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct efficient, organized data gathering, and data analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Current Intel customer experience a plus
- Experience using Project Management principles for managing construction projects.
- Experience using Lean/Six Sigma principles and tools for process improvements.
