We're looking for an SME Data Task Lead to oversee high-visibility data management and analytics projects in support of national security initiatives. If you're an experienced technical leader with a passion for data strategy, system engineering, and team development-this opportunity is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead execution of data management initiatives including data visualizations, analytics, architecture, modeling, workflows, and CONOPS development.
• Manage the Narsil Tools Team and ensure high-quality, mission-aligned outputs.
• Serve as the primary interface with contract management, customers, and technical stakeholders.
• Direct all project activities including work planning, scheduling, resourcing, reporting, and performance management.
• Deliver high-quality technical documentation including SOPs, protocols, and task deliverables.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance while driving solution development and continuous improvement.
• Support business development efforts by managing small proposals or contributing to major proposals.
• Ensure optimal staffing, resource allocation, and performance evaluation in coordination with the Program Operations Manager.
• Lead recurring briefings and reporting to communicate accomplishments, risks, and mission impacts to senior leadership.
• Foster a high-performing team culture, ensuring positive morale and exceptional service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, including 6+ years in a management role
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
• Proven experience in data architecture, data visualization, and addressing data interoperability challenges
• Program management experience in the Intelligence Community (IC)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and executive stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in staff oversight, performance management, and team development
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience briefing senior leadership on project status and mission impact
• Experience managing award fee contracts
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Flexible, creative, and innovative leadership style
• Familiarity with mission-focused data delivery and service excellence in the IC
