Amentum is seeking a Transformative IT Program Manager for a contract located in either the Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL area. This is a hybrid role which requires you to be located in one of these areas. You will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of this contract. Your ability to adapt to a diverse workforce audience when preparing and conducting briefings will be vital within this work. One of your strong points is your eagerness to put the customer's needs at the forefront of your problem solving, including being proactive in asking questions when you need more information. Your strong leadership skills combined with your extensive experience managing large scale Enterprise IT Service Delivery and Management Programs with a global footprint will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation of and provide leadership for an enterprise endeavor to modernize a Federal customer's IT support model.
  • Serve as a change agent, liaising across government, Amentum, and subcontractor teams to create lasting technological, process, and cultural change.
  • Manages day-to-day technical operations including all aspects of systems integration, engineering design, material procurement, fabrication, systems assembly and installation, environmental testing, logistics, fielding, and follow-on support.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Interface with government personnel.
  • Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards.
  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates.
  • Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel.
  • Responsible for managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort.
  • Provides direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Provides recommendations for resolution of technical problems to the Government staff and team.


Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) planning, directing, coordinating, and managing proposed methodologies and approach for a large-scale Enterprise IT Service Delivery and Management Program with a contract value of $1 Billion+, multiple places of performance worldwide, and a dispersed workforce
  • Experience managing subcontractors, cost, budget, and milestones
  • Experience with frequent procurement of materials and equipment and employee relations
  • Current Program Management Institute (PMI) certification (i.e Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification)
  • Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of and experience managing as a Service Model (commercial or government)
  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Agile Certification or requisite experience
  • Experience developing and implementing risk response plans, implementation plans, and change management strategies
  • At least 5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) in the management and control of complex information systems architectures spanning a minimum of 11 states within the U.S., user and network systems integration, and cloud-based services
  • At least 5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) executing tasks in compliance with the Federal, DoD, and agency regulations, standards, guidelines, and frameworks, including the DoD Zero-Trust Architecture and RMF
  • At least 5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) managing large scale Enterprise IT Service Delivery and Management Programs within a classified environment
  • ITIL® V4 Foundation Level Certification

  • This position is performed in a traditional office environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Hiring salary range is $190,000 - $250,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
