Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking to hire an Assembler 4 for our Charlottesville, VA site. A successful candidate will possess great communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, manual dexterity, the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, learn quickly, work well independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $51,200.00 - $85,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products such as gyros and gear train mechanisms.
- Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance.
- Assembles, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions.
- May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in assembly, set-up, and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and 4 years additional education and/or manufacturing experience.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to lift and move objects, up to 30lbs, from one location to another.
- Able to achieve J-STD-001 Certification, IPC 610/620 Certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, including wire harness.
- IPC 610/620 Workmanship Certification.
- J-STD-001 Certification.
