Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network DevOps Engineer:
- Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipeline tools, including GitLab, Nexus, and Python
- Execute configuration management processes, releases, and versioning of managed configurations
- Create automated pipelines to deploy new configurations into lab environments
- Travel to alternate work locations as needed
- This is a full-time position requiring U.S. Citizenship due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by our client
Required Skills for Network DevOps Engineer:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Must obtain an IAT Level II (8140) compliant certification (such as Security+ from CompTIA) within 60 days of start date
- Government security clearance (DoD Secret - minimum, Top Secret - desired)
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Experience with GitLab and GitLab concepts (such as branching, merging, etc.)
- Preferred: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Ansible; basic knowledge of Network Engineering
