Job Summary:
The Computer Support 1 role supports technical documentation and reprographic services in a Service Center and Technical Library environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and accurate document processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform research, retrieval, receipt, distribution, scanning, printing, laminating, plotting, archiving, and auditing of engineering and business documents.
Review input/output data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with technical and quality standards.
Update data documents, sign-out/in logs, and technical directives.
Maintain internal records, catalogs, and daily processing logs; may revise schedules as needed.
Navigate technical libraries and databases to locate technical orders and verify information.
Manage reprographic print jobs end-to-end: file prep, printing, scanning, file management, and coordination across departments.
Operate and maintain reprographic equipment; perform minor troubleshooting, toner/paper replacement, and bindery services.
Ensure document reproduction meets schedule, accuracy, and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Basic:
High School diploma or GED
Active B-2 Secret Clearance (DoD/SAP/SAR)
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and standing for extended periods
Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends
Preferred:
Experience in a Service Center or Technical Library
QA/document control experience and familiarity with technical databases
Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage high-volume print tasks
