We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Assistant with Power Platform and Salesforce expertise to support operational excellence across the USDA Technology & Accessible Resources Give Employment Today (TARGET) Center.

The TARGET Center is a nationally recognized program that empowers federal employees with disabilities through assistive technology, ergonomic services, and sign language interpreting. If you're skilled in automation, data reporting, and systems integration—and passionate about improving access and efficiency in public service—we invite you to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll serve as both a workflow coordinator and low-code/no-code automation expert supporting the TARGET Center’s suite of services. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing service delivery through Power Automate, Power BI, and Salesforce, with a particular focus on the Sign Language Interpreting Services Program and cross-functional case management.

This position blends program coordination, CRM data management, and workflow automation, with opportunities to lead improvements in how data is collected, tracked, and analyzed across service lines.

Key Responsibilities include:
Act as the primary scheduler and point of contact for Sign Language Interpreting Services in the National Capital Region
Design, deploy, and manage Power Automate flows to streamline case intake, notifications, approvals, and reporting workflows
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and custom reports in Power BI, pulling data from Salesforce and Office 365 sources
Support Salesforce administration, including custom objects, validation rules, layout updates, and automated case routing
Collaborate with technical staff and vendors to identify and implement process improvements using Power Platform tools
Clean and maintain Salesforce data, resolving duplicates, import errors, and field inconsistencies
Integrate Power BI dashboards with SharePoint and Salesforce to provide real-time reporting to USDA stakeholders
Provide training and documentation to staff and customers on using portals, dashboards, and request workflows
Monitor interpreter request queues, identify anomalies, and troubleshoot discrepancies using automated reports
Assist in cross-functional service coordination, including Ergonomics and Assistive Technology workflows
Support scooter loaner program and associated tracking forms in Salesforce and Microsoft Lists
Assist in hosting events and webinars using Teams and Zoom
Contribute to knowledge management by updating policies, procedures, and support materials

Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
Must be able to commute to and work on-site in Beltsville, MD, five (5) days per week during standard business hours
2+ years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, or CRM operations
1+ years of hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools
1+ years of Salesforce administration or strong familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including:
Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel
Teams, Word, and Forms
Experience designing automation flows that integrate Microsoft 365 and Salesforce
Comfortable troubleshooting, testing, and iterating on automation solutions

Desired Qualifications:
