Job Description
BAE Systems Intelligence & Security is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to serve as a vital link between our government clients and our service desk technical teams. In this role, you will assume responsibility for the effective management of project teams, personnel matters, project progress and timelines, ticket queues, coaching and mentoring of junior staff, and ensuring the seamless execution of daily operational tasks. As an essential team member, you will directly oversee your team, conduct performance evaluations, and monitor throughput, all while being stationed full-time at a customer site.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will collaborate actively with external teams and clients to provide project support and facilitate the implementation of new technologies as needed. Reporting directly to the program's deputy program manager, you will maintain comprehensive activity metrics related to your team's weekly performance, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the integration team's interface and conversion-related tasks and activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on interface development and project management best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure the timely completion of interface-related milestones.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Foster effective communication and coordination between technical and non-technical team members to ensure a seamless interface implementation process.
- Apply proven project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Six Sigma, Agile) to optimize project efficiency and quality.
- Regularly update senior management on project status, milestones achieved, and potential challenges.
- Recommend innovative ideas, processes, and procedures to enhance existing systems and practices.
- Create compelling content, such as pitch decks and executive summaries, for business development and consulting meetings.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining organizational project management methodology and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy of all deliverables, including presentations, contracts, and spreadsheets, through collaboration with Finance or Compliance/Legal departments as necessary.
- Promptly escalate challenges/issues that may impact business operations and initiative delivery.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues, while effectively communicating project status, and negotiating changes in project scope, resources, or timeline to ensure satisfaction of project sponsors and partners.
- Identify and execute IT projects aimed at continual improvement of user-facing systems and the enhancement of the IT infrastructure, including evaluating new software and hardware or making processes more cost-effective.
- Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Provide strong leadership and support to Service Desk/Account Management team members, including training, coaching, and motivation to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Develop and promote standard operating procedures and recommend new or modified policies and procedures as needed.
- Offer day-to-day operational support for all Information Services devices, applications, and solutions throughout the organization.
- Deploy, install, document, and maintain all IS Operations Infrastructure equipment in alignment with existing operations and I.S. Strategic Plans.
- Collaborate with other members of the I.S. Team to deploy new or updated tools and processes needed to support our strategic plans.
- Consult with external vendors regarding services and equipment and maintain all contracts with these vendors.
- Create and maintain reports and documentation related to Operations infrastructure, including operational performance, procedures, drawings, flowcharts, cable plans, training documents, and periodic testing and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager Office to implement strategic projects.
- Work in partnership with the Network Administrator to implement strategic projects impacting networking, telecom, or security.
- Collaborate with Government Management to create and execute strategic goals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- TS/SCI Clearance with appropriate poly.
- BS in Computer Science, IT Management, or Information Technology preferred
- At least 5 years' experience managing forward deployed Information Technology teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Successful experience prioritizing multiple tasks, managing projects, and adapting to a changing environment while remaining professional and efficient.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating systems, Virtual Desktops, Networking, Remote access/VPN, and Microsoft applications: Outlook/Thunderbird, Red Hat/CentOS, Microsoft 365.
- Project Management Certificate is a plus!
