Job Description
Gridiron IT seeking a Cloud Administrator Engineer for our Operations, Infrastructure & Support Engineering Group that will focus on building and maintaining the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes for base cloud infrastructure. This individual will work on developing the automated pipelines for cloud environments as well as providing consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automated build, test and release automation.
Responsibilities:
Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the cloud environment
Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that support a continuous security updated environment
Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability
Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture
Qualifications:
Eligible for Top Secret/SCI Security clearance
5+ Years
Experience working in a Security culture
Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management tools
Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions
Ability to automate menial tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Security+ Certification or the ability to get certification within 3 months of hiring
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology
Azure, AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
Clearance

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $100,000 - $220,000/YR (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
