We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Cloud Engineer to join our security operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, a solid foundation in network security, effective communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
-Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
-Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
-Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration.
-Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
-Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
-Optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, network engineering, cybersecurity -engineering or related field (or equivalent experience in related field)
-5-7 years' experience as a cybersecurity network engineer (or similar)
-Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
-Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
-Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
-Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
-Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
-Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
-Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
-Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
-Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
-Demonstrate knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
-Possess basic scripting skills, such as Bash, Python or PowerShell.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required.
-One or more of the following certifications: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, Security 5, SSCP, or equivalent.
