Job Description:
The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Infrastructure/Facilities Department. He/She will support the Infrastructure and Acquisition Branch in day-to-day operations and project management.

Job Description:
The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Infrastructure/Facilities Department. He/She will support the Infrastructure and Acquisition Branch in day-to-day operations and project management.
Basic Requirements:
- B.S. in associated field
- 6+ years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Experience with project coordination and/or management
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
- Motivated
- Strong experience with MS Office Suite of Products to include, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with government facilities
- Prior experience using AutoCAD
Responsibilities:
- Plan Minor Construction Projects
- Coordinate Requirements with Facilities
- Develop Scope of Work
- Assist developing RS MEANS cost estimates
- Consult with building users
- Measure, accumulate, and determine specifications
- Attend Meetings/briefings with Environmental, Safety, Security, and Contracts
- Perform site visits with furniture construction contractors
- Develop SAP packages
- Work Induction Board (WIB) package development (Work Permit & PRB initiating)
- General Requirements Determination: Management of Environmental, Safety, and Security Requirements
- Determine all applicable building codes and General Contractor requirements that are indirectly related to the Scope such as Scheduling, Submittals, Work Restrictions, Administrative ...etc.
- Develop Project Technical Requirements
- Create minor sketches/drawings using AutoCAD
- Refine follow-on market research for basic construction and furniture
- Quality Assurance checks for Draft RFP Package
- Conduct Unplanned Site Walks / Impromptu quality control checks for construction projects
