Video Teleconferencing Services Operations
Clearance: Secret
Location: Onsite in Norfolk, VA : 1562 Mitscher Ave, Norfolk, VA
Mon-Fri: Core hours
Salary: 50-60K
START DATE 4/1/25
Task Description
Your first support will be for the Commander, Deputy Commander, and the Chief of Staff for all VTC’s/Microsoft Teams.
Required to work in a dynamic fast paced environment that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.
Assists in all service / system upgrades while being a team player.
Perform setups, adjustments, operations, and tests of equipment in support of VTC sessions.
Provide after-hours / weekends as requested by the government customer.
Scheduling of classified Internet Protocol (IP) video teleconferences for CONUS and OCONUS meetings using Cisco Meeting Server (CMS).
Conduct pre-conference testing and setup.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of issues concerning all aspects of VTC, AV equipment, and related voice/data communications.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while assisting customers.
Knowledge with Cisco Codecs, Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), Crestron touch panels, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), Microsoft Teams, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), and other related interfaces and devices.
Experience
• In depth knowledge of VTC operations, management techniques, devices, methods, services and standards.
• In depth knowledge of specialized communications process and techniques utilized in the interface of VTC systems. In depth knowledge of DOD and DON communications concepts, principles, practices, procedures, long range objectives and techniques applicable to VTC systems.
• In depth skill and ability to operate highly complex and modern VTC systems.
• In-depth skill in determining the feasibility of using newly developed equipment and techniques to perform specific VTC functions.
• In depth skill in facilitating high profile AV and VTC requirements in support of Four Star Military Flag Officers and Senior Executive equivalents.
• 5 Years active and recent experience in Video Teleconferencing Call management for the DOD.
Education
• High School or Career Field / Community: Information Technology
