Job Description:
We are seeking a Software Engineers from Jr to Sr level to join our dynamic team at Northstrat. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web platform technologies, a commitment to continuous learning, and a strong background in software engineering.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our supportive customers to modernize mission applications, focusing on designing and implementing client- and server-side architectures for data-rich applications with complex user workflows.
Develop, maintain, and optimize microservices to ensure scalability and reliability.
Write automated tests and user interface tests to facilitate thorough application testing.
Deploy applications through a fully automated DevOps pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
Influence the current architecture and future technical direction of projects through innovative solutions and best practices.
Thrive in dynamic environments that demand high levels of teamwork, communication, and coordination.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
10 years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems.
Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS.
Experience in web application design and development.
Understanding of repeatable automated processes for application building, testing, documentation, and deployment at scale.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with web frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum software development methodologies.
Proficiency in development tools like Git/Bitbucket, Confluence/Jira.
