CACI is looking for Senior Windows Systems Administrators to join an exciting CACI contract in Norfolk, VA.
What You'll Get to Do:
Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
Supports new infrastructure projects.
Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
Establishes and maintains user accounts, assigning file permissions and establishing password and account policies
Perform and remediate STIG check lists
Installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating system software in a production environment
Participates in reviewing performance logs and monitors system performance.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic level system hardware, software and communications problems and aids in performing configurations and adjustments to enhance database file capacity; performs automated and manual backup and restore processes
Installs, configures and tests software packages
Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Performs regular file archival and purge as necessary
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Systems Administration experience - 5 + years.
Experience for associate/junior level positions may be earned from work or academic pursuits.
Must have a active secret security clearance and a favorably-adjusted SSBI or SSBI-PR updated within the past 5 years
U.S. citizenship (Foreign Nationals must have a CNO-approved waiver)
Must meet IAT (Information Assurance Technical) Level II certification criteria specified in DoD 8570.01-M, i.e. Security +, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.
A computing environment certification such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or an equivalent
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiar with DoD network accreditation processes
Familiar with DoD Information Assurance (IA) requirements and practices
